The task was developing the approved design drawings into a full Building Regulation level package for submission to the Local Authority for sign off and construction.
Following a briefing meeting with our client, we were provided with the approved planning drawings, topographic survey and structural specifications.
Initial setting out drawings were prepared, ensuring the building was fully detailed to brick dimensions (in plan and section) for sign off prior to moving forward. Taking our client’s specification for insulation and structure, the drawings were progressed to a ‘skeleton level’ for a second review. As usual we prepared a schedule of questions and suggestions as we developed the drawings.
The final package was then updated and refined by our client and used to produce further finishing and sanitaryware schedules and full specification.
AutoCAD dwg files and building control notes were handed over to our client at completion.
